I was recently selected as a participant of a competition for a graphic design company in Michigan. The objective was to design a logo for a company called "Whipfile.com". If chosen, I would be selected as a candidate for employment with the graphic design company. SO, without further a due...here are some of the concepts I submitted. Wish me luck!
Eye Candy Saturdays at The Reserve On L

The Reserve is the latest resto lounge to hit the District and is quietly making its entrance. DC nightlife guru, Moe Hamdan, had a hand in this restaurant concept and I had to see what the place had to offer. I found a sexy new spot for food, happy hour, wine, jazz, and DC nightlife.
Currently you can stop by and grab a bite inside or on the patio, happy hour 5 pm - 9 pm and catch a live jazz show on Wednesdays between 7 pm and 9 pm.. There are three levels, however, the third level remains under construction and should be available in the coming weeks. The second level features a DJ booth and several leather couches for intimate seating and includes a large flat screen TV. Reserve manager, Kim, said the focus is on the wine selection and intimate setting. A promising change for the L street location that once was home to Ollie's Trolley.

Created to resemble the shape of the Lotus flower, Lotus boasts a calming atmosphere and elegant design which makes the space a favorite of corporate and non-profit groups alike for special events. The space can accommodate up to 400 guests and features a semi-private room that can seat 40 guests and has an 80 person reception capacity. The lounge offers luxurious leather banquette style seating against its signature pixel wall by Element Labs which adapts and pulsates to the beat of the music and can be customized to display text or images offering a truly personalized experience.
The Buddha sculpture positioned above the 60-foot granite bar keeps a watchful eye over the dance floor where busy urbanites let loose to beats mixed by some of the Nation’s hottest DJs. The state-of-the-art sound system, intelligent lighting and aesthetically pleasing design make Lotus Lounge a favorite nightlife destination along the K Street Corridor.
